MOTHER AND DAUGHTER<br />
Kendra sat quietly on her bed, behind the curtain of thick wavy brown<br />
hair, reading a book, keeping to herself. In a red tank top and<br />
skinny jeans she was all curled up against the corner, away from the<br />
door and window. Her lithe body was almost concealed by the large<br />
tome she was immersed in. She'd had three months to try and settle<br />
into her dorm room, at the prestigous university her mother had<br />
chosen for her. Three months to make friends, relax and come out of<br />
